On the way to the coast, we stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
He told me I was supposed to be the cow because I have milk...
MM MMM cheese samples!
We couldn't leave without getting some yummy ice cream!
The beach was sooo cold and windy! We got to do some fun exploring though
Kase, Me, Talmage, Laryn, Bryant, Sariah, Mom, Dad, James & Makala holding twins, and Hyrum
We hiked a little ways up the trail
Beautiful view from the Stonehenge in Washington. Wish I remembered more about it...
And when we got back to Basin City, we had a cousin get-together that evening at Aunt Brenda's. She had just bought 2 (I think) miniature horses and for some reason she liked and trusted me to ride them. I had one of the little guys on the back until the horse bucked....then that ended. But it was fun!
On the trip home on Sunday we made a few pit stops:
Multnomah Falls in Oregon (yes, I had to look that up). Apparently a big deal over there? I had never heard of it, but it was beautiful! We hiked a little ways up the trail

Monday was Memorial Day. We had a Wells family potluck thing and celebrated Kyra's birthday (she turned 2!) and then Kase and I flew home. The most memorable part of the BBQ was everyone making fun of Kase for his belly and weight he has put on. It was pretty entertaining :) I wasn't too worried about it - he just needed to graduate and then I figured he would work it off and get back into shape like the Kase I've always known. The family's comments seemed to have some positive effects- more on that later!
