While living down the street (literally) from the lovely Provo temple, I had the opportunity to work in the baptistry for about 3 or 4 months. It was awesome. I never realized all that goes on behind the scenes to help make the temple function. My last day was February 9, 2012, which was also the 40th anniversary of the temple (since the dedication). Pretty cool. My friends there would ask, "Are you going to work at the temple in Flagstaff?" to which I would simply respond, "Well, the closest one is about 2 hours away...." Their response to that is wide eyes and a look of understanding on their face, ha. Temples seem to be all over here in the Utah Valley. Glad we got to take advantage of the temple while we lived so close. Maybe I can work at a temple again one day when I'm older, like the rest of the folks there :)
