(YES - I AM VERY BEHIND ON BLOGGING!)
We took a little trip down to Flagstaff to look for a place to live. We are looking to rent for the next year and hopefully get into a house after that while the market is still low, but we will see what happens. After days of looking at apartments, setting up an excel spreadsheet of the costs at each place, and weighing out the pros and cons, we came to a conclusion.
We are going to stay at Timberline Village Apartments. They are close to where we lived this past summer. It was actually our second cheapest option - the first being significantly cheaper but the good feeling just wasn't there....Kase nor I were completely comfortable there. And that was a big issue for him. Timberline is very nice, but what sealed the deal was the price - they gave us a great deal ($70 off of rent per month and a free month!). So, that's why we chose it. The fresh baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the front office every morning don't hurt either :) But it has a gym, sauna, jaccuzi, an office with wifi, computers, printing/faxing, etc. We are going to cut down on costs by not having internet in our apartment, and just using the clubhouse whenever we need it (well, for me anyway - Kase uses the internet at work). So here we are!
