I got to babysit and spend time with my darling niece, Annie. Not enough time, of course. She is the most precious, happy little thing! She gets tired of my kisses though, for sure!
BATH + E got to see each other again! Me, Ashley, Erika (& Annie), Hydee (& Bridger), Tara (Hazel was sleeping). These were my roommates (with the exception of my sister-in-law) my freshman year at BYU, where lasting friendships were built! We also all lived together again for part of Sophomore year (including Erika, this time). They convinced me to live with them again after they decided they liked me...so I said yes :)
We got to go to the temple with Blake & Erika, along with many dinners the entire semester and a half. It was so nice being so close to family - we will definitely miss that!
A few of my girl from Dallas East Stake - Sara & Brittany! Although they tend to make fun of me the majority of the time that we get together, I still love them :) Good memories!
Some of Kase's buddies and old roommates. Kase, Me, Austin, Tim, Tyler, Hawk, Taylor, and Kory. Luckily they let me participate in what I thought was their Guys Night Out. It's nice when your husband's buddies don't mind you being around, right?
ABBY! So, I've gotten into couponing since I've been in Utah. And Abby wanted to learn, so we went to a class together where I originally learned about it, and she learned about it for the first time. She is holding her "beginner's packet" while I have my coupon binder. Love it. It was so fun to see her again!
And Kase came! He's been watching me coupon, and I always tell him about all the great deals I get. So, naturally, he wanted to learn a little more. It's nice to have a husband who wants to learn more about your interests and activities :)
Kase's intramural basketball team. He didn't get to play through the complete season since we left, but they did have 2 schedules so he got to play more than he otherwise would. Awesome guys, and some of his best buddies as pictured above.
Tim.....
Money Wise was a workshop the church put on all about money and how to manage it. We went twice, and learned a lot. We are glad we have this binder and materials to refer back to.
Now for some pictures I didn't get:
We had Sara & Tyler Nelson and Kristin & Mark Bishop over for dinner about a month before we left. It was so great to hang out with my cousins and their husbands. I remember a lot of talk about dogs....which I didn't really participate in since they aren't a big interest for me. But they are for Kase, so that worked. It was so fun to spend time with them - I wish I would've gotten a picture, and spent more time with them all semester!
We got to go to the temple to do family names with Kristin & Mark Bishop and Uncle Bob & Aunt Pam Openshaw. Aunt Pam, my dad, and Kristin's dad (my Uncle) hired someone to get family names for us, so we got to go do their work. That was awesome - an experience I've never had before.
We had Cole & Sara Nielsen as well as Ryan & Tara LeCheminant over one night to chat, exchange items, and say goodbye. Cole is one of Kase's good buddies, and Tara is one of mine. And Ryan & Sara are brother/sister and are also friends of ours. Great couples.
Vard Wells and Laryn Wells came to visit us also, the weekend before we left, from BYUI. It was great to see them again and spend some time with them. Vard brought both of us a BYU Idaho shirt - the nice, lightweight material. Kase always works out wearing shirts with this material, but I've never owned one. I like it - I'm excited. It was nice having family come and stay with us :)
We got to have Uncle Bob & Aunt Pam Openshaw over for lunch one day. They feed us often, on Sundays and before/after football games, so we wanted to say thanks. They are also just fun people to be around - great conversation! They just took us in and loved us like a mother and father would!
I went to free kickboxing classes for the time we were in Provo. Those were awesome - I totally noticed my stomach and arms get more toned. Luckily, our new place has a work out facility. Although I'm considering doing my own kickboxing classes, especially since I once taught cardio classes. Just hope the people below us don't mind :)
We are going to miss all of our friends and family in Provo, but are so excited for our new adventure in Flagstaff!
