Wells Family 2012

So here's a post for the Wells side year of 2012. It will probably be a little shorter, as I'm new to this side.
Mom and Dad have had an addition to their home this year, as the Hales sold their house and moved in. Between Blaire, Laryn, and the Hales, I think they've only been empty nesters for like 4ish months since Laryn left for college. Dad teaches science at Connell High School with his recent masters degree. He also coaches girls Middle School basketball. This year was a big focus on the cruise, and Mom was by far the most prepared! So fun to spend more time with them! Mom works part-time as a para-Ed at Mesa elementary school.
L to R, top to bottom: James, Makala, Lyle, Rex, Hyrum, Sariah, Talmage, Bryant

The Hales had an eventful year as they moved out of their house and eventually sold it. They have land to build on that is between Pasco and Basin City, but were waiting for their home to sell before they could start building. I'm sure much progress will continue in 2013. They moved in with Mom and Dad once the summer hit. Rex & Lyle turned 1 this year, Hyrum turned 3, Sariah turned 7, Bryant turned 9, and Talamage turned 11. The kids now attend Basin City Elementary School, where Talmage can still be in elementary school since Basin City goes through 6th grade and their previous Elementary school only went to 5th grade. James teaches Seminary in Pasco, and finished up his Masters in Education this year. Makala is continuing to get back to her normal self after the birth of the twins. She graciously gave me some of her old baby stuff, as she is convinced that they are done having kids :)
Reichert, Dave, Taneil, Jhett, Makaley, Damon

The Spechts also had a big year this year, as they moved from Nebraska where they lived for 10ish years to Connell, Washington. A difficult but easy decision at the same time. Dave has his own business called Advising Generations, a consulting firm where he helps navigate transitions of family businesses being past down from one generation to the next. He speaks at conventions as well. He travels some for his job anyway, so he can still do what he does from a different location. And they decided it would be a good time in their kid's lives to move back to Washington. Jhett turned 3 this year, Reichert turned 6, Damon turned 9, and Makaley turned 11. We found out on the cruise that Taneil is expecting and due in July! Dave doesn't enjoy the traveling, but besides that they are happy to be back in Washington :)
Britlan, Severin, Kyree, Haley

The Bergesons live in Moses Lake where Severin farms with his Dad on his farm. Haley helped a lot with (everything) Blaire's wedding and all the info for the cruise this year. Britlan turned 2 and Kyree turned 1 this year.
Kyra, Jen, Hayden, Taylee, Dax

The Wells had a big year this year also. Jen gave birth to sweet little Taylee in August, while housing Vard & Taylor in her house that summer (right before the baby was due) along with a little of the Spechts. They did a lot of work on their backyard this summer as well, clearing it, putting in grass, sprinklers, a garden, and probably much more. I can't believe Jen did all of that while she was so pregnant. They live in Moses Lake where Dax is an Engineer for Genie. Jen also teaches a short Ready for Kindergarten course 3 times a year.  Kyra turned 2 and Hayden 4 turned this year.
Our description, AGAIN. We moved from Provo, UT to Flagstaff, AZ for Kase's job with Gore. He had what he would call his "dream job" and works with his best friend Ben McCabe. In October we accepted a different job with Toyota and will be moving to Mississippi for that near the beginning of 2013. Kase finally graduated with his undergrad in Manufacturing Engineering from BYU in December, and now we actually get to spend time together :) I'm just working odd jobs, babysitting, cleaning, stocking vacation rental homes, couponing, traveling :) We did quite a bit of travel this year. I loved every bit of it!

This was the only picture  I had of Vard that I know was from 2012, and of course he doesn't have a shirt on. Vard is at BYUI working on his degree as a Mechanical Engineer. He spent the summer in Washington working at an intern for Genie and dated a girl then. He's into girls and sports. And that's all I got for him...

Blaire & Kioa got married in August of this year in the Portland, Oregon temple. They both attend BYUI. Kioa is a getting his degree in Communications with an emphasis in visual, while Blaire is working on hers in medical assisting, aiming for nursing. Kioa is a hip hop dancer and teaches it as well. After their honeymoon in Seattle and Vancouver British Columbia, they both stayed in the Basin City area renting out a room in Aunt Brenda's house. They both worked potato harvest, and Kioa started his own dance studio while Blaire babysat. At the beginning of the year in January I got to go up and try to help get Blaire (and Laryn) settled into college a little more. That was fun to be there. She worked at the Country Mercantile with Laryn this summer before she got married.
Not the best picture of Laryn, but it's the only one I found of only her from this year. Laryn turned 19 this year, and attends BYUI. She dated one boy at the beginning of the year, a different one this summer, and had the cruise to look forward to at the end of the year. She went home for the summer and worked in the food and gift shop at Country Mercantile with Blaire. She also tethered hay and worked cherry harvest.
