TOFW & Mesa

My Mom’ side of the family in Mesa has a tradition of going to Time Out for Women every year in Phoenix, and since I was only in Flagstaff then of course I needed to go! Nevermind that I already went earlier in April, right? J My mom flew to Phoenix for it so that was fun. No Brooke, (I guess she has to get an education or something at school…) but we all had a blast. We didn’t make it to all of the Friday night session because it was the same time that our cousin Tyson opened his mission call (Portland, Oregon mission – woo hoo!!) but we made it late. Some of the speakers were the same and it was still inspirational to hear them talk again, although the lady who was hilarious had the same jokes so they weren’t as funny the second time but still funny. We had a good time!

Ronna, Raelleene, me, Aunt Rhonda, a friend of theirs, Mom, Mumphy, Aunt Cyndi, Jeneale & baby Adaline
I went ahead and stayed in Mesa for the next week since Brandon & Brittani were leaving to go to Hawaii with some friends and my mom was there to babysit the twins while they took Tate. So I stayed as well – why not? Mostly because Kase had a business trip in Logan, UT part of that next week anyway so why go home to an empty house? We had a blast. Those girls are something else. Lala of course had to spoil them, and they each got their own purse, lip glosses, etc. I guess Addison always takes Lala's make up bag (looks like a small purse) so she now has her own and won't take Lala's :) What, Mom, you couldn't go through your day without a little make up? We had some good times together.

Went to see Pops’ turtles. Gotta love Pops and his animals.

*there should be a video here that I accidentally put in the post BTW Aspen Grove & Homecoming*

My friend Zach Buchanan from high school recently moved to Phoenix, so we went to dinner with him. His family is good friends with my family so he loved seeing my Mom too. We went to this Mexican restaurant in Phoenix that Kase loves called Carolina’s but I wasn’t impressed…sorry Kase. He said I got the wrong thing. That’s usually true. We got ice cream afterwards and walked around some lights and stuff. During dinner I was curious to Zach’s liberal views when it comes to politics so I asked him in a nice way of why he was voting for Obama. He tried to explain himself but my mom cut in and started talking bad about him so Zach kinda shut down. I was scared of that. Should’ve told my mom to keep her mouth closed beforehand. I’m just always curious to hear other viewpoints, especially ones that I don’t understand AT ALL. Bascially for him it’s social issues and the thing to do. He didn’t say it that way, but that’s how a lot of my friends are from back home. Being liberal is the thing to do and they are weird if they’re conservative. Pretty stupid.

While I was there, Obama got reelected for another term. That was a sad day. Sad 4 years, actually. Bad 4 years. But I already posted about all that….but anyway, fun times in the valley!

My dad came into Phoenix (can't remember why) and they ended up taking me back home to Flagstaff. It was raining in Flag so the only thing we could do was take them to play in this play area in the mall. Those girls love girly stuff! Addison with those boots cracks me up!
